INTRODUCTION TO LEARNING EXTRAS


We invite you to explore the Learning Extras located at the conclusion of each main section of this CD ROM.  Each activity includes outcomes, materials needed, directions, extensions and grading criteria. These activities represent the collective ideas of teachers from throughout the state.  Our goal is to align activities with national education standards, supporting the improved achievement of all students in education.



Teachers and parents are central to success of these activities.  Adequate time must be spent on engaging students in the activities.  To assist you, we have identified key terms or vocabulary words for each section.  A complete vocabulary list is available at the end of the CD.
